August 3, 2019 – “Today's church is busy with men,
methods, money, marketing etc. I wonder if God is pleased with what HE sees and
hears. It takes time to be holy, but most of us are too busy for that and too
easily distracted. GOD gives us those seekers who's "soul panteth
after thee, O GOD. Psalms 42:1, Give us GOD thirsty souls!” S. E. Trail
My
prayer for you today is for a heart that is thirsting for the “living water”
that Jesus promised to those who would come to Him and drink.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst
after righteousness: for they shall be filled. KJV
“A
kindergarten teacher gave her class a "show and tell" assignment.
Each student was instructed to bring in an object that represented their religion
to share with the class. The first student got up in front of the class and
said, "My name is Benjamin and I am Jewish and this is a Star of David."
The second student got up in front of the class and said, "My name is
Mary. I'm a Catholic and this is a Rosary." The third student got in up
front of the class and said, "My name is Tommy. I am Baptist, and this is
a casserole."
