“Only one thing in life really matters. Does Jesus have absolutely first and
final say in your life? The rich young ruler went away sorrowful lacking one
thing, but really lacking everything. He failed at the most vital point and
proved that at heart, he was still a rebel. One of my old Sunday school
teachers put it best when he said, "If you miss heaven, you have missed it
all!" Jesus wants to be preeminent in your life! Is Jesus first where it really counts and
does He have your time, talent, and treasure?” S. E. Trail
My
prayer for you today is for you to have the right order of priorities in your
life.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and
his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. KJV
“D. L. Moody said: "It is well that man
cannot save himself; for if a man could only work his own way to Heaven, you
would never hear the last of it. Why, if a man happens to get a little ahead of
his fellows and scrapes a few thousands of dollars together, you'll hear him
boast of being a self-made man. I've heard so much of this sort of talk that I
am sick and tired of the whole business; and I am glad that through all
eternity in Heaven we will never hear anyone bragging of how he worked his way
to get there."
