this world is enmity with God.” Vance
Havner said, “Not mild disagreement but utter hostility.” What has happened
to principles like, “Come out from among them and be ye separate,” and “Be not
unequally yoked together with unbelievers?” The best illustration that I have
found is, “It is not a problem for a boat to float in the water; the problem
comes when the water gets in the boat!” “Love not the world, nor the things in

A Sunday school teacher was discussing
the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the
commandment to 'Honor thy father and thy mother,' she asked, 'Is there a commandment
