Trail Mix - 5.8.18

5.8.18 – “If we put today’s disciples to the same test that the Lord did I wonder what would be the result. In His day when He preached hard things, “…they left Him and followed no more.” Jesus spoke of self-denial, cross bearing and following. He doesn’t say that we will be poor disciples if we don’t do these things; He says we cannot be disciples at all. Sift today’s disciples with the three cannots and I wonder what the leftovers would look like? We are called to full and total surrender to the Lord. Jesus will be Lord of all or He will not be Lord at all!” S. E. Trail

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. KJV

One day as she was stepping onto the elevator, a man casually dressed in jeans and a golf shirt got on with her. Thinking of her responsibilities, she scolded, "Dressed a little casually today, aren't we?" The man replied, "That's one benefit of owning the company...."
