Trail Mix - 2.4.19

February 4, 2019 – “Are you more interested in the “Blesser” or the “blessing?” Many of us are so focused on the gift that we miss seeing the Giver! It’s possible to pray for a blessing for years and become so occupied with this or that thing that we sacrifice the best on the altar of the good. Rest in the “Blesser, the Giver” and then whatever we may lose, we have in Him, and in Him we have everything! In Him is “all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” S. E. Trail
My prayer for you today is for you to appreciate all you have in Christ.
Weekly Memory Verse Challenge - Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
“A strong young man at the construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone in a feat of strength. He made a special case of making fun of Morris, one of the older workmen. After several minutes, Morris had enough. "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" he said. "I will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that outbuilding that you won't be able to wheel back." "You're on, old man," the braggart replied. "It's a bet! Let's see what you got." Morris reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, "All right. Get in." ChristiansUnite.com
