Trail Mix - 2.2.19

February 2, 2019 – “God is always seeking to “enlarge” our vision and He does this in a curious way. God takes us from one mountain top, through a valley, to the next higher mountain top to increase our view. Job was already a man of faith when God allowed him to go through a deep valley to the next mountain top. When he got to the top he said, “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee.” Thank God for the valleys!” S. E. Trail
My prayer for you today is that you would be able to praise God in any circumstance of your life.
Weekly Memory Verse Challenge - John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. KJV
Exercise program for those over 60!
“Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5- kg potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10- kg potato bags. Then try 50- kg potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100- kg potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.) After you feel confident at each level, put a potato in each bag. ChristiansUnite.com
