Trail Mix - 1.21.19

January 21, 2019– “If we realize that our citizenship is in heaven it ought to make a great deal of difference in how we live in the here and now. We know that we still bare the marks of Adam’s fall. Things like bifocals, bridges and baldness are constant reminders of this truth but we are the children of God “now” and “…it doth not appear what we shall be but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him!” Be a child of God “now!” We are to live “soberly, righteously and godly” in the now! Do you friends know that you are a Christian? How do they know?” S. E. Trail

“A policeman told me this story. He said that he once had a call for a hit and run. When he arrived on the scene, the man who had been hit by a car and was lying on the side of the road said, "Officer, my mother-in-law knocked me down with her car!" "Are you sure it was your mother-in-law?" asked the policeman. "Yeah, I know it was," the man said, "I'd recognize that laugh anywhere." Anonymous
