18, 2019 – “We do not
inherit salvation! Just because our grandparents or parents are believers
doesn’t mean that we are. You can grow up in a Christian home and the church,
know all of its practices and yet not be a citizen of the kingdom. Often someone like this becomes hardened to
the Gospel and is harder to awaken than a heathen! Remember that Jesus said
that the publicans and harlots went into the kingdom before the Pharisees! Being
in church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than being in a garage makes you
a car!” S. E. Trail
My prayer for you today is for you to
have a relationship with Christ and not just with a creed.

Ecclesiastes Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days
come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in
them; KJV
“A pastor is walking down the street one
day when he notices a very small boy trying to press a doorbell on a house
across the street. However, the boy is very small and the doorbell is too high
for him to reach. After watching the boy’s efforts for some time, the pastor
moves closer to the boy's position. He steps smartly across the street, walks
up behind the little fellow and, placing his hand kindly on the child's
shoulder leans over and gives the doorbell a solid ring. Crouching down to the
child's level, the pastor smiles benevolently and asks, "And now what, my
little man?" To which the boy replies, "Now we run!" Christianjokes.com
