4.9.18 – “The phrase, “The battle is the
Lord’s…” if filled with blessings. Since our warfare is not against flesh and
blood (natural) but against the (supernatural) powers of darkness it is futile
for us to seek to wage warfare in the flesh. We have a great adversary but we
also have a greater ally! “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the
world.” Trust in the Lord, and not to your own strength or ingenuity; the
battle is His! Victory is assured!” Gleanings from Vance Havner
My prayer for you is for you to live on
“the victory side” because we are “…more
than conquerors…” in Jesus!

John 2:1 My little children, these things write I
unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: KJV
“For a couple years I've been blaming it
on lack of sleep or too much pressure from my job, but now I've found out the
real reason that I am always tired. I'm overworked. The population of this
country is 237 million. 104 million are retired. That leaves 133 million to do
the work. There are 85 million in school, which leaves 48 million to do the
work. Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government, leaving
19 million to do the work. 2.8 million are in the Armed Forces, which leaves
16.2 million to do the work. 14,800,000 people work for State and City
Governments. That leaves 1.4 million to do the work. At any given time there
are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving 1,212,000 to do the work. Given that
there are 1,211,998 people in prisons, that leaves just two people to do the work,
you and me. And you're sitting at your computer reading jokes!” ChristiansUnite.Com
