4.26.18 – “The average church has a “corp” of
professors and a “core” of possessors! If the church is to expand the kingdom
we must enlist more recruits for the “core!” A. J. Gordon said, “The average
church is often like a congested lung with only a few cells doing the
breathing.” Before a church can go further it must go deeper. God give the
church an infusion of committed “core” members and they will enlarge the
“borders” of your kingdom. Are you a member of the “corp” or the “core”? S. E. Trail and gleanings from Vance Havner
My prayer for you today is for you to
join the “core” in the Lord’s Army. “Semper Fidelis!”
Proverbs 3:5 Trust
in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In
all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
“By
the time Bobby arrived, the football game had already started. "Why are
you so late?" asked his friend. "I couldn't decide between
going to church and going to the football game. So I tossed a coin," said
Bobby. "But that shouldn't have taken too long." said the
friend. "Well, I had to toss it 35 times." ChristiansUnite.Com
