4.24.18 – “We cannot have a real relationship
without a response to God! Isaiah 6:1-6 makes this plain. How did the prophet respond
to his relationship with God? First, confession of his sin and the sins of his
people and then there is a call, and then he commits himself to take a message
of repentance to the people. Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers
of me…,” first the relationship and then the response.” Vance Havner
My prayer for you today is for you to
“…see the King upon His throne…” Revelation must lead to an appropriate
relationship which leads to a response of faith.

Corinthians 8:5 And this
they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord,
and unto us by the will of God. KJV
"Honey," said this husband to
his wife, "I invited a friend home for supper." "What? Are you
crazy? The house is a mess, I didn't go shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and
I don't feel like cooking a fancy meal!" "I know all that." "Then
why did you invite a friend for supper?" "Because the poor fellow's
thinking about getting married."
