July 3, 2019 – “Live your life so that you will have
no “deathbed regrets.” At the end many look back and wish they had done
differently but friend it is far wiser to begin early to think reflectively
about life so that we can achieve practical results as we take our journey.
“Today is the day of salvation…” not some planned for future time that may not
provide an opportunity. Our Lord said, “…the night cometh when no man can
work…” A lifetime is short compared to eternity. Redeem it!” S. E. Trail
My prayer for you today is for a life
well lived and a “well done” at the end of the journey from our Master!
Hebrews
12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he
would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of
repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. KJV
The Game Warden
"Doin' any good?" asked the curious
individual on the bridge. "Any good?" answered the fisherman, in the
creek below. "Why I caught forty bass out o' here yesterday." "Say,
do you know who I am?" asked the man on the bridge. The fisherman replied
that he did not.
"Well, I am the county fish and game warden." The angler, after a moment's thought, exclaimed, "Say, do you know who I am?" "No," the officer replied. "Well, I'm the biggest liar in Eastern Alabama," said the crafty angler, with a grin.
