Spurgeon said, “The world’s one and only remedy for sin is the cross.” No
matter how deeply you have fallen into sin, Jesus can save you to the
“uttermost.” He saves the lost, the least and the last who call upon Him in
simple childlike faith. Jesus knew no sin but took our sins upon him that we
might be “…made the righteousness of God…” We need no other remedy, His blood
avails for us!” S. E. Trail
My prayer today is for you to “know” the
crucified One who “…taketh away the sin
of the world.” My friend, do you know Him today with any degree of
certainty?
Hebrews
7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high
priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the
people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. KJV
“A four-year-old boy was eating an apple
in the back seat of the car, when he asked, "Daddy, why is my apple
turning brown?" "Because," his dad explained, "after you
ate the skin off, the meat of the apple came into contact with the air, which
caused it to oxidize, thus changing the molecular structure and turning it into
a different color." There was a long silence. Then the son asked softly,
"Daddy, are you talking to me?"
