11.18.18 – “How do we react when we are
attacked? Make no mistake, if you seek to live a godly life you will be
attacked. Jesus is our example in this case. When he was reviled "He
reviled not again." We must resist the urge to retaliate and guard against
unrighteous anger. When we strike back we always hit the wrong target and the
innocent get hurt! Let the Lord defend you, He can do it so much better. God is
our “refuge!” S. E. Trail
My
prayer for you today is that you will rest “safe in the arms of Jesus.”
Deuteronomy
33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by
the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found
liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. KJV
“Some tourists in the Chicago Museum of
Natural History are marveling at the dinosaur bones. One of them asks the
guard, "Can you tell me how old the dinosaur bones are?" The guard
replies, "They are 3 million, four years, and six months old." "That's
an awfully exact number," says the tourist. "How do you know their
age so precisely?" The guard answers, "Well, the dinosaur bones were
three million years old when I started working here, and that was four and a
half years ago."
