3.7.18 – “What brought you to Christ? Was it a
time of crisis in your life that led you to set your house in order? Would it
not be better to come to Christ because we appreciate His goodness to us? We
most often come in an hour of desperation but “It is the goodness of God that
leadeth thee to repentance.” We could avert much pain if we would just come to
Him in the sunshine instead of the shadows. I have seen circumstances where an
individual came to Christ the first time they heard a gospel message but this
is rare; most of the time we hear the gospel call many times before we respond.”

My prayer for you today is for you to
seek God in the daylight instead of waiting until it is dark!
Ecclesiastes
12:1 Remember now thy
Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years
draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; KJV
“Three boys are in the schoolyard
bragging about their fathers. The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a few
words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him $50." The
second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece
of paper, he calls it a song, they give him $100." The third boy says,
"I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he
calls it a sermon. And it takes eight people to collect all the money!" ChristiansUnite.com
