Trail Mix - 6.23.19

June 23, 2019 – “There was a day when we “prayed through” but that takes time and our hurried schedules won’t allow for it. Fervency has been replaced by a cold calculating efficiency that doesn’t leave room for agonizing intercession. We can learn much from Jacob and Paul who both stayed with it till the answer came from God. These men of God bore the marks of their “wrestling” and moved forward in faith and obedience.” Vance Havner

My prayer for you today is for a prayer life characterized by an attitude that says, “I will not quit until you bless me Lord.”

Exodus 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. KJV

“A man went to the airline counter and the ticket agent asked, "Sir, do you have reservations?" The man replied, "Of course I have reservations, but I'm flying anyway." A man walked up to the airline counter and told the airline worker, “I'd like this bag to go to Berlin, this one to California, and this one to London." The worker says, “I'm sorry sir. We can't do that.” The man replied, "Nonsense. You did it the last time I flew with you."
